Zeinab Barati, Ph.D.
PROGRAM MANAGER
Zeinab Barati serves as the Program Manager for Tiny Blue Dot Foundation. She supports the funded projects in the scientific and clinical study of the neuronal basis of consciousness. After receiving her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University on optical imaging of cerebral hemodynamics, Zeinab was awarded an American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship to study the neuroscience of hibernation at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Prior to joining Tiny Blue Dot Foundation in 2021, Zeinab led a National Institutes of Health Small Business Innovation Research grant at her startup focusing on developing miniaturized optical imaging instruments for small lab animals for the study of neurological disease models such as ischemic stroke.
